Goodbye 2009! - December 18, 2009
It's been an incredible year and we are exhausted...
This past year saw many bands in new venues and lots of happy concert goers. People still can't believe Fouplay came to Modesto. Brian Simpson and Shilts, Tom Braxton, Pete Escovedo and Mario Flores all gave us amazing performances this year.
Ricardo Scales, Peppino D'Agostino and Tom Braxton helped to make Lebisto Jazz Club in Stockton the new hot spot for live music in the Central Valley.
Another new experience for us was working with other promoters. Our friends with Olé Productions helped to make the Latin Music and Salsa Festival, with Pete Escovedo, a great success. We look forward to more shows at The Whitmore Mansion and to working with Armando and Evone again.
We had a lot of local talent on stage as well. Rhythm Deluxe played the first annual Roman On The River Birthday Bash and Travis Vega brought Smooth Jazz to the Fat Cat in downtown Modesto.
Michael Paulo's "Christmas In The Valley" was the perfect way to wrap up the year.
Reg and I want to thank all the musicians, all the sponsors and especially everyone who supports live music by paying for tickets.
